Good idea amid1999. It worked also for me. Apparently the swap partition
got reformatted (and so uuid changed istantly).
Updated conf.d/resume and now it works.
The interesting thing is that I have swap on /dev/mapper/linux-swap
which is a name that does not change. Why ubuntu uses UUID in my cas

I have the same problem on my r50p just updated to lucid.
Hibernation works but the init.d scripts at resume "forgot" to see the past
hibernation and do a cold start.
Network manager stays in disabled mode (because standby and hibernation scripts
disable it). To reenable the quickest thing to do
It hangs also my home workstations that has no wifi but radeon chipset
too.

I suggest to stop saying that chrome hangs ubuntu when it is the
WIRELESS driver that is broken.

mandatory for pacemaker/corosync/heartbeat real world use. So a missing
external/sbd fencing device start script is critical if you want a

Yesterday heartbeat maintainer has added to heartbeat the script to
start sbd daemon at boot. This script is needed to use external/sbd
fencing.
Please add to ubuntu package.

I confirm this bug I am in the same situation with a Radeon 9500 and ati
opensource driver. I have search on internet and it seems it is a bug of
xserver driver. Please update it.
