The problem is not only german...
It occurs today on Ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10.
Many users have been stuck for one year.
Isn't it possible to update the packages and add the missing dependency ?

I can confirm this in KDE Gutsy as well. Both OOffice at splash, and
Konqueror when opening pages with flash content, crashes. Some GLib
error. I don't have my laptop here, so I cant paste it exactly.
