Dell XPS13 2016 Developer Edition here.
The patch at #59 that was perfectly working on 14.04, but it does not
work anymore on 16.04 :\ I even tried to compile the utopic version of
xserver-xorg-input-synaptics-lts-utopic (1.8.1) with the patch above.
Everything goes fine, but differently from 14.0

You can also open the patch and make the changes manually to the file
/usr/lib/totem/plugins/opensubtitles/opensubtitles.py. It's a very
trivial change :)

2) Open a movie with totem
3) View > Subtitles > Download movie Subtitles

I know you made a working package. I use it and I thank you. But Ubuntu
is "linux for human beings" so most of the people don't read the forum
and haven't installed your package. Ubuntu should work out of the box
but, right now, gnumeric doesn't work on ppc.

They have realased goffice 0.4.0 and gnumeric 1.7.10 that solve the bug

A workaround could be to configure /etc/fstab with "noauto" and put in
/etc/rc.local "mount /mnt/sambadirectory".
I've tried it and it works.
