OK, I figure out the problem. The problem stopped after I put my whole home directory as the location of my collection. I always had it that way but when I changed it in the Feisty version, to more expecific folders, I think that's when the problem started. Thank you for all the trouble -- Amaro

Yeah it was from a 1.4.5 version that I compiled on Edgy, but I was also using the data before on 1.4.4 and 1.4.3. I will try to compile amarok on Feisty, and I will let you know if the problem continues on, when not using the Ubuntu package. -- Amarok's collection updater doesn't work. https://

I don't think is it part of 1.4.5 particularly, I compiled and ran 1.4.5 in Edgy, but the problem was not there, when I did I clean install of Feisty, that's when it all began, which also uses 1.4.5. I did a backup of my collection data, and clean rescan of my collection, and everything seem to b
