I am on 0.1.30-1ubuntu and I just got this issue as well. I was unable
to unmount a volume because tumblerd was generating thumbnails, even
though I had no Thunar window open. I found it by running fuser, killing
the process allowed me to unmount.

On 14.04 I am getting an issue on my Thinkpad T520 where running the
"proprietary,tested" 331.38 driver causes my display to hang. It seems
to stay that way until I switch to tty6 with ctrl+alt+f6 and then back
to tty7 which has the display, this causes it to un-hang. This the
I'm getting this all the time since the last couple of days, any logs I
can attach to help when it happens? It seems to happen directly on login
but everything seems to work as normal.
