Same problem here with a Nvidia Geforce 8400M G.
I get a black screen after installing the drivers of Nvidia.
The problem occurs in Lucid, Maverick and Natty.

I got also this problem.
I also have a Geforce 8400M GS and the problem exist with Natty, Lucid and
Maverick.
How can I downgrade the driver?

I've the same problem.
It's a poor interface but it's better to have a poor interface with many
options than a poor interface with no options.
Isn't there a way to install an old version or will it give problems with
Ubuntu Karmic?
