I don't know which RandR version nVidia support (I didn't find it), but based
on readme for 1.0.9639 version, nvidia driver should run xrandr -q and xrandr
-o and in my case if finish in error state same as described by Christian. And
on the other hand -o and -q are 1.1 commands. So

I'm not sure if it is only fglrx problem, because I have nvidia card (with
nvidia 1.0.9639 driver, which should has xrandr support) and have completely
the same problem (xrandr -s works but other parameters causes BadRequest error).

sorry for the delay. I have tried title plugin in Kino 1.1.1 and it seems it
works fine. No memory leak nor program crashes occured. So in Kino 1.1.1 the
problem is fixed.

Hi,
You can create DV file from any mpeg file using this command (I use this to
create every video to edit in kino, because I have the analog camera):
ffmpeg -i file.mpg -target pal-dv file.dv
