I tested it with the following system:
Ubuntu 10.10
$ uname -r
2.6.35-22-generic
$ dpkg --list | grep psp-kernel-source
4.42.0-0ubuntu2~1010uml
$ gnome-about
2.32.0
With this, all works fine. I then installed kubuntu-desktop and switched
to kdm as standard desktop manager. Result: It does

as a workaround, the following thing helps:
in /etc/kde4/kdm/kdmrc, uncomment the following line:
TerminateServer=true
This is because the error seems to be a X-Server regenration crash. Of
course, this is only a workaround, so if anybody can help here, it would
be good.

Hi,
I am using an Asus EEE PC 1101HA together with Ubuntu 9.10 and KDE SC
4.4. As the integrated screen supports 1366x768, I wanted to use it. I
therefor installed the poulsbo driver:
$ dpkg --list | grep psb-kernel-source
ii psb-kernel-source4.41.6-0ubu
u can see what packages are concerned after the correct
bootup of edgy but before running the adept-updater.
