Any news about this issue? The default behaviour is really annoying,
since in all other applications the mouse wheel is used for zooming. It
should be configurable somehow.

Please do something about this bug. It's really embarrassing for the
distribution, as this should be really easy to fix.

I'm trying to compile wine 32 bit on Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit, but I ran into
this issue that libfreetype6-dev:i386 tries to remove a bunch of
unrelated packages.
Please let me know if you find a workaround for this.

I've also tried to install libfreetype6-dev:i386 and it started removing
random packages. Until I figure it out, it removed : build-essential
dkms g++ gcc gcc-multilib nvidia-current. Please fix this package!
I find unacceptable to require people to install a 32bit system just for
compiling wine!
I've also run into this bug in 12.04.

I have the same issue in the same environment as in the Bug Description.
I use this feature a lot and I know it used to work well in the previous
releases.

** Description changed:
Suspend-to-ram fails on my Sony Vaio 1390X with black screen. What
actually happens is that after 10-15 seconds after pressing suspend
button I'm back with locked screen (like after waking up from suspend).
The display is actually working but its backlight stays off
This bug also affects the Sony Vaio VPCF11M1E, which uses the same
chipset, Realtek ID 275.
I'm using the default alsa-1.0.20.1 package from the repository. Installing the
following packages fixed the internal speakers problem for me.
linux-backports-modules-alsa-2.6.31-20-generic (2.6.31-20.22)
Same problem here, after upgrading to 9.10
