Greetings,
I've noticed one important security feature that is lacking by default
in Ubuntu and Kubuntu... A default firewall rule set and a decent
firewall manager.
I feel that in today's world of insecurity, Ubuntu and Kubuntu needs to
at least have default firewall rules
installing jackd didnt work.

This is what I got when running it. I JUST got through updating
everything and did a reboot and just tried to run pitivi

Binary package hint: pitivi
not sure the details. installed with add/remove programs program, then
went to launch it from the menu and it never started. i did a restart a
little bit later and when i logged in it asked if i wanted to report the
program crash so i did.

This "bug" is also on the latest ubuntu as of posting this (7.04 i
believe).
I found a sort of way around it... but this does need fixing.
