Further update: Somebody suggested it may be due to a privacy prompt on
the facebook page I need to complete. I completed one a few weeks ago,
and logging in to facebook in chromium shows no new prompts.

Update: After a few minutes I get a notification 'you have been
disconnected' (from my facebook account). However, the account still
shows as 'online' in kopete.

After adding my facebook account and password (need to enter password
twice, but theres another bug on that already), my facebook contacts
simply don't show up in the contacts list.
