I get the same messages as gerhard rauniak in comment 1 under edgy and with the camera "Ricoh Caplio G4 Wide". The auto-import under Dapper worked fine. Adding the new line to "/etc/udev/rules.d/45-libgphoto2.rules" as described above didn't work for me. I saw that an entry with the correct values
