Workaround "intel_idle.max_cstate=1" didn't work completely for me. It
did reduce the frequency but the hang eventually returns with the same
symptoms.

Issue remains un-resolved for me friend cong
Obviously a different issue since nmcli would be stuck in sleep if it

So the solution is to not use the default programs that Ubuntu
considered it's default? Maybe we should switch to another distro or
tell people to go back to Windows. Windows would at least have a dev or
cs rep tell you something not just ignore you and pretend they don't see
it.

I think it has to do with the gnome-control-panel... For some reason
when it comes back after "turn off" it keeps the back light set to 0...
But it does not do it with suspend where it restores the screen
properly.
