The recent change here was to drop the attach= parameter from the mailto
URL passed to Thunderbird, so that if you click a malicious mailto link
in e.g. Chrome, it can't trick you into sending arbitrary files.

Printing to networked cups printer via smb is not working. Printer is
an Epson Stylus Color 660.
Printer was originally configured as ipp but that was not working due to
an older version of cups at the far end, so switched to smb as a
workaround.

I can confirm that after applying that change to the current 12.04
kernel (3.2.0-58.88) the microphone on the webcam works as expected, and
the "set volume quirk for QuickCam E3500" message appears in dmesg from
the kernel.

Hi
I can't easily try out the latest kernels since they mandate PAE which
this system doesn't have.
I've not found the bandwidth to download the ISO but I guess that will
be the same situation.
I've looked at the equivalent file in the main kernel head and see that
