I have a related problem. A track has been downloaded to U1 servers but
with 0 bytes length. The rest of the tracks are OK.

Same problem with a Dell Optiplex 755, Ubuntu 10.04 and amd64
architecture. Killing X brings the GDM window and I can log in into my
computer.
