I quit the application, I've done the step you gave:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:weather-indicator-team/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-weather
restarted indicator-weather.
and the field still says "Show temperature near indicator" all the other fields
are in French.
I just tested it and it is translated #1.

I configure ushare to start automatically when the computer is starting.

When I boot up my computer and CUPS starts after Samba, I cannot get the
list of my "shared" printer. I need CUPS to start first and then Samba.
Is it a CUPS bug or a Samba bug??? I have no clue. It is a bug.
As I stated, I found a workaround (sudo mv /etc/rc2.d/S50
My computer is working fine but I've installed 2 others that have this
problem. The only difference that I know of, is the 2 others are using a
French version.

If someone installs Ubuntu and uses the timezone America/Montreal
instead of Ameria/Toronto, the weather will never appear in the gnome-
clock.
I don't know why because the names of the TimeZone are different (even
if both are in GMT-5), it will not work

When I installed Ubuntu Karmic Koala, I put the timezone
America/Montreal.
Once installed, I configured the clock to have the current weather and
it did not work.

I just found out the problem with CUPS. Samba is starting before CUPS
and Samba is timing out before CUPS being completely started.
I've been able to workaround this problem by making CUPS starting before Samba:
sudo mv /etc/rc2.d/S50cups /etc/rc2.d/S15cups
Now I'm wondering what's gonna happened
I have the same problem as Victor.
I cannot see my printer with samba when I start up my computer but if I
restart the service /etc/init.d/samba restart. I see it without any
problem. Is it possible that CUPS does not start fast enough?
