Different but probably related - I'm getting repeated flash plugin
crashes in ff 3.6.15 on Ubuntu 10.10 32bit.
I also noticed after a recent update.
uname -a gives
2.6.35-27-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Tue Feb 22 20:25:29 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux
Flash is 10.2.r152

I would agree that it appears to be a bug in the alternative cd.
I'm trying to install using gutsy 7.10 alternative cd 64bit, and it
doesn't detect the card, whilst the live cd has no problem in doing so.
(I want to use the alternative cd to allow me to setup raid during the
install).
