Yes, my bluetooth headset mic is detected (Escape 500 ANC) but no sound
is received. Also when I try HSP/HPF output the sound is Dalek-y, high-
fidelity is fine.

My solution was to re-select gdm as the display manager; not even de-
select then re-select. Something was re-linked at that point but i have
no idea what.
