to report the date of the scan, it's actually reporting the date of
change of the file - the scanning software has not included the date of
the scan in the EXIF metadata associated with the image.

OK, just had the problem occur again. Absolutely no diff in dmesg or
Xorg.0.log. Can still navigate with the keyboard. xmodmap and xev show
nothing funky (xev does not receive mouse events). It appears no app

After running vmbuilder, it created disk0.vmdk and ubuntu.vmx, but the
content of ubuntu.vmx is likely incomplete:

I'm on 32-bit machine. I can reproduce the error with the following
installation:
- Intrepid beta dated 09-30-2008
- F4 -> minimum install
- No server, no nothing
Reboot.. sudo apt-get install python-vm-builder
and run the command
sudo vmbuilder vmw6 ubuntu --suite intrepid --flavour virtual --
It did create .vmx and .vmdk successfully after reboot as nijaba said.

I did waste a bunch of time as libjvm.so was not on my Intel(R)
Core(TM)2 Duo CPU (amd64) Ubuntu gutsy system, when libjvm.so is on the
i386 version.
Be good if there was some warning perhaps, though I guess this bug

When "Terminal" is opened inApplications/Accessories a blank white window
appears- no text visible but if the cursor is moved
to where the file menu should be then the options appear allowing the terminal
to be closed.

I've seen this problem when I installed dapper on a friend's machine and
then upgraded it to edgy. 2.6.15 boots, 2.6.17 doesn't as this bug
earlier describes.

I can confirm this bug. Previously I thought it was SCIM, but I've
sinced removed it and OO crashes just the same.
All I need to do is create a document, click save and it hangs.

I found this bug in dapper. I would say its very serious.
The host X server has to be restarted after the client disconnects. The
host's keyboard and mouse doesn't work properly after the client
disconnects.
I don't know where stickykeys is enabled or disabled.
