Thanks for reporting,
I believe the underlying issue is that curl has released a new security
update (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/curl) version
8.5.0-2ubuntu10.4. Which means the 10.3 update is replaced. This might
be a package list or mirror temporarily out of sync.

I wasn't successful in creating a "crash" file.
I checked: /etc/default/apport >> enable=1
and rebooted but /var/crash is empty
