When trying out the new network-manager plugin for openswan [1],
currently being developed by Alexander Dorokhov, one has to manually
compile openswan as well in order to change

I am also having problem with stuttering audio when watching (rather
low-res) videos in vlc. The audio is like it's having some strange echo
effect applied to it, making speech unintelligible.
This is on a X120e (AMD E-350) running xubuntu 11.04 64-bit.

I am not sure if this exactly the same bug as before, but I can't get
ureadahead to trace here on an up-to-date xubuntu 11.04 beta.
Reinstalling ureadahead does not help.
When I run "sudo ureadahead --force-trace --debug", I get the following output:
ureadahead: Error while tracing: No such file
Response from Alex Deucher:
"The radeon driver has never handled the backlight control. It's handled by
acpi. xfce should use sysfs."
Would be nice if the code/helper for controlling the backlight through
sysfs could be enabled for xfce4-power
