Binary package hint: empathy
With aspell package not installed Empathy seems to be leaking memory. As
you type, memory usage will increase rapidly. I often ended up with more
than 1GB of memory allocated by Empathy before I found out that it was
the aspell package missing.

FYI - this has been resolved in 2.30. The user can now as well select
which address books should display in the birthdays & anniversaries
calendar.

I would like that too – with birthdays not displaying the couchdb
calendar is of virtually no use to me and it would be such a nice
feature once the contact sync is launched again by Canonical... :)

I've experienced this problem ever since brasero was first included in
ubuntu by default. That's why I have to use K3b... A shame, really... :)
