Public bug reported:
Sometimes when I have chat window opened but write quick response using
the Gnome Shell notification bar, I find myself in situation unable to
open new chat windows from the empathy contact list. Only list reopening
helps.
These log messages I received when got this problem a
Yeah! I've stopped the samba service manually ("sudo service smbd stop")
and the installation continued.

I'm also affected by the hang after line
"Installing new version of config file /etc/logrotate.d/samba ..."
when upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10.
What I should do? Stop the upgrade procedure?
