laptops allready and I do not use Ubuntu anymore because of ubuntified-
drivers and other stuff. Anyway I would recommend you to focus on
hardware support for linux kernel and make a good contribution for that,
instead of releasi
I have exactly the same issue on HP Compaq 8710p. Then closing the lid,
the screen just hangs, and it is set to suspend. Then I use a keyboard
keys to make suspend it seems to work fine.
