Thanks, yes, it was an failed upgrade even though the UI (or I
mistakenly thought the UI) showed that it had completed. All systems
are upgraded to 18.10 w/no issues. I posted it to see if anyone else was
having this issue. This can be closed.

During the course of trying to install the package, I did find a broken
link from libdouble-conversion.so to libdouble-conversion.so.1 which
may have caused the initial install to fail. Maybe it was an
installation/upgrade process error and not a package one. My solution

My issue turned out to be that the Bionic Beaver (18.04) libdouble-
conversion1 package does not contain the .so files, but the Artful ones
do. I downloaded the Artful package and now the thg UI starts
correctly.

Adding to Folders to ignore, you can navigate to /home/greg/.gvfs in the
GUI, but it gets stored as ~/.gvfs in the exclusion list.
When the backup runs, it gives the "Backup Finished" but Could not back

worse, requires unplugging and replugging in the USB connector and

Used workaround. Menus work, Eclipse launches, but Ivy and Vaadin
plugin menus do not. Eclipse assumes they are already installed, but no
way to access them either through the toolbar or the right-click on
project menus. Uinstall and reinstall have no effect.
