Gutsy has no package containing the source for the apparmor module/s, so
those of us who like to compile and use the latest kernel (no offense to
the kernel devs who took all that time customizing it) can't use
apparmor.

I only noticed it that once, but I havn't been trying it very much as I
have been checking out Opensuse 10.3 (still not quite as good as Ubuntu,
horrible package manager behavior). Quite a strange and unnoticeable
glitch.

I was using the us mirrors, but after updating the sources then I was
successfully able to upgrade to the latest (2.1+961-0ubuntu5), changing
to closed (sorry, should have tried this earlier (assumed sources
updated after a reboot)

vmware kernal modules package depends on the outdated (unavailable)
older kernal modules (depends on 2.6.20-15 while only the new 2.6.20-23
package is available)

broke my upgrade and also fails when installing manually, and also prevents me
