I've updated the BIOS and I've also removed all the non trusty kernels. So now I'm running on 3.13.0-92-generic. I haven't had a crash yet but I will report back if/when I do. One other thing though that might be of importance. I noticed when cleaning up the kernel packages that I have xserver-xor
