This has been tracked down to the replacement of lightdm in the archive
with Debian's version. It is missing the ubuntu only lightdm-session
wrapper. I can only assume, users of lightdm are now supposed to define
the session-wrapper themselves - Debian has always had to.

I note bubblewrap is marked as confirmed but no resolution.
For budgie-control-center - backgrounds - Add Picture I found that the
gnome-desktop library libgnome-desktop-3-20 is calling bwrap and that
this was failing due to permis
I have done a quick test with ubuntu budgie and nemo.
For some unknown reason, the right-click compress option no longer
compresses the chosen folder. This worked with the gtk3 version.
Extracting an archive does work and correctly uncompresses the tar.gz

here is to allow SSH connections remotely to the Pi.

In ubuntu budgie 21.10 our raspi app provided two remote desktop
solutions - RDP and VNC.
This was achieved through a scripted install and configuration method
invoked from an application only visible when running ubuntu budgie on a
