problem: full accu, when I unplugg the laptop the warning pops up, that

are you shure that this is the same problem that I hvae reported? because with
10.10 I did not have the problem, the read performance was as good as it is now
in windows 7 on the same pc. It slowed down just after the update to 11.04!
What information do
I have the same problem on Dell Studio 1747 Ubuntu 11.04 x64.
Before I updated to 11.04 I had very good read/write performance on the same
sd card.
What information do you need, to can investigate the problem? Can
anybody give a hint?

wow, this is bug over a year old and still not fixed :(
I have a new canon 1000d and make raw fotos .CR2 files and they are flipped
mirrored in this programms:
* shotwell 0.9.2
* Eye of GNOME 2.32.1
In the following apps the pictures are NOT mirrored, that means in the original
orientation:

same problem but with ati grafic and FGLRX driver on Dell 1747 Laptop.
Updated yesterday from 10.10 x64 to 11.04 x64. under 10.10 suspend to ram
worked like a charm, no it is broken.
please fix it.

But in my case, the fan runs under ubuntu not so often than in windows

The problem is the Dell Datasafe Local Backup application. After I
started it yestarday the first time and later rebooted my system (dell

Bug is invalid.
This is not an ubuntu (or linux) problem, it is a Dell problem,
especially a design problem of the studio line. And the 1747 with its
core i7 CPU is getting hotter than all other CPUs, but it has also more
power than others.
The fan runs all 40-50 sec for 10-20 sec, this is quite

to solve the problem try this:
sudo cp /usr/lib/libpng12.so.0 /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libpng12.so.0/
and
sudo cp /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libgcc_s.so.1
and vmware works fine!
