hi
i have the same problem with thinkpad x300.
it was working a month ago. and if I try with ubuntu 11.04 from a usb key it
works fine.
therefore, it should be a problem with a recent update and it is not hardware
dependent.

Hi,
I am using kernel linux 2.6.32-24-generic-PAE
Unfortunately the fix is not for PAE kernel.
Do you have any ideas on how to fix it for people using PAE?
Thanks

I upgraded to ubuntu 9.10.
Thinkfinger is working great as in 9.04, except for the login screen.
Is there already a solution for this?

Dear Tom,
I am new with ubuntu. Can you explain me what should I do with these files?
I have jaunty and a thinkpad x300. thinkfinger is woking great, no delay, no
need for carrier return and it works after resuming from the screensaver.
The only problem I have is with the multiple keyboard option.
I had the same problems but now thinkfinger is working great.
The only problem I still have is the multi keyboard.
I use several keyboards, english, french, etc.
ubuntu boots ok, but after resuming from the screensaver the multi keyboard
stops working.
Does anyone have the same problem?
thanks

now it works great, but there are two problems:
I am using multi keyboards english and french
and as soon as I use the thinkfinger for the first time the keyboards stop
working correctly
the other thing is that i can't use thinkfinger to unlock the screen after the
screensaver was activate
I have the same problem with ubuntu jaunty.
have you find the problem?
