This has happened to me TOO many times. I've lost several files when
closing gedit that were on a mounted disk. There is no version with ~
at the end. Is there some other directory where these backups are
saved? I DO have autosave enabled.

The tabs are all created and the names show. Then the names disappear and the
name of current directory replaces them.

system-config-printer not reachable in menus of GNOME shell
To manage notificat
When I click + to add a printer, I get the message about ipp, ippclient,
samba client also. But it finds my printer. When I click on it and
click Add it seems to hang (Add button looks like it is still
depressed). Printer doesn't get added. Suggestions?
