Fail to install any packages after kernel upgrade.
I moved /etc/lilo.conf to a different location and i was then able to
run the update.

Can confirm this bug 2.6.27-11-generic. Every time I reboot I have an
additional wired connection added "auth eth0". I have to manually delete
it and switch to my saved static version. This is a serious pain, as it
means I cannot remotely reboot my machine.
