gosh, is my english that really bad?
I said that I've done typos posting key name in first post but in sysctl.conf
it was without typos.
And now it is commented out and that why wine1.2 installed without problem.
Problem wasn't a typo because it was only in my message not in
sysctl.conf
Now rea
Sorry, it was typo on my side when I've wroted message on launchpad. It
is really "vm.mmap_min_adr" adn commenting it out solved my problem.
As I see, install script of wine1.2 installs
"/etc/sysctl.d/30-wine.conf" which have "vm.mmap_min_adr=0" key inside
so I think it is key duplication error (
OK.
As I see, every one have "vm.nmap_min_adr = 0" key in it's "/etc/sysctl.conf"
and almost every one did upgrade from Jaunty.
As I have clean install of Karmic on my box then I havent had this key in my
"/etc/sysctl.conf" but I've added it in my atempt to run ARMEL crosscompilation
on Scratchb

Firestarter aren't supported by Ubuntu devs anymore so I doub't that it will be
resolved or gain high priority.
UFW is right now supported and recommended by Ubuntu devs and it have no such

So what if apparmor fils bugreport, sends it (n.b. it includes anything
that you request on this site for bug report but user cannot save it to
disk and send it here) and then opens browser and load this
bug.launchpad site? Is it a bug or not? And how the user could know?

In Hardy is ufw already (ufw is a middleman between IPTABLES and user -
like Firestarter, but it's shell command tool) and with gufw (GUI -
Gnome ufw) it's really nice. I've tested it on 8.10 thought, but it
should be gufw for Hardy too (I've seen it with Polish edition 8.04.1 so

Or, it will be better to edit "/etc/network/if-up.d/50firestarter" form this:
#! /bin/sh
/etc/init.d/firestarter restart
to this:
#! /bin/sh
if [ "$(/etc/init.d/firestarter status | grep running)" ]; then
/etc/init.d/firestarter restart;
else /etc/init.d/firestarter start;
OK. So I will write what's happening.
Everybody, look inside yours "/etc/rcS.d" directory - which priority have
"networking" and which "firestarter"? At my system it is respectively 40 and 65.
It means that first "/etc/init.d/networking" is running and with that
"/etc/network/if-up.d/50firestart
