Also the images edited with an external editor (GIMP) were deleted. These
images are stored with following name (german language): original.jpg becomes
original_verändert.jpg in natty and in oneiric naming

edited version is deleted. if i mark 10 edited pictures then click to
view all marked pictures, then double click one picture of the marked
pictures all of them get deleted.

ntfs drive und there is a shortcut to map the photos folder on the ntfs
drive to the original ubuntu photos folder. I also use the drive with
Mac OS X on rare circumstances. ntfs was the only format that is
