I confirm, I've seen the bug in kubuntu 6.06 with same arts version,
that was the reason to disable arts for me.

I confirm this bug, but it only occurs if pathname contains cyrillic chars. If
all chars are 7bit everything is ok.
I use kubuntu 6.06.
