The 'grub-efi' package failed to install into /target/. WIthout the GRUB boot
loader, the installed system will not boot.
Noteable Hardware:
Shuttle SH67H0 mainboard (supports UEFI???)
Crucial 256GB M4 SSD (SSD Hard drive)

I had the same problem as Kim (#84) - background displaced.
I had been using a proprietary nVidia graphics driver which was installed using
Additional Drivers (jockey-gtk).
I removed/deactivated this driver, and restarted. The problem is gone.
I had also done 'sudo apt-get purge ubuntu-restrict
We are experiencing this bug on 3 computers. All computers are running
Natty 11.04 x86_64 desktop.
After some inactivity by the user, the screen is black and the mouse
pointer is visible and moves with the mouse.
We have not experience this problem when the user logs in the same

Alpha 3 or Ubuntu 11.10 64-bit has this problem. After a standard
installation, NVIDIA version 280.13 is being used. And NVIDIA X Server
Settings is also installed.
