Computer is running fine.
After the crash, lspci is showing the driver uploaded (as far as I
know).

Same issue. IPOD looks like a drive-removable-media. Doesn't show up
in gtkpod. Running First Karmic Beta.

If this is the same bug (I am 99% sure it is...), deleting your .kde amd
.kde4 folders from your home directory fixes it (and removes all of your
settings!).
I've had this bug on three different computers. I don't know if there
is a connection, but in all three cases, I had created a second panel
