I don't know where to post this, but I'm having the exact same issue
with the Ibex beta. I tried re-installing the whole os, then
reinstalling openoffice, then openoffice.org-ogltrans but the programme
continues to crash (so mdbarton's semi-fix didn't work).
I'm not sure if this is a new problem,
Thanks for that tip Jean-François: that has my time from login down to
~40 seconds. Most acceptable!

Not much to add but: me too. Just over one minute after login. All
suggestions here don't do the trick. I've already tried disabling
various services one by one but to no avail. Of course, as bugs go it's
an irritation rather than a catastrophe.
