I have upgraded to 18.10 and I started getting an issue with
CTRL+SHIFT+E. On 18.04 it worked just fine. Now when I use it input
boxes and text areas across the whole system start acting weird-most of
them will contain letter "e" as soon I focus them. The letter cannot be
removed-not with backpace,
I've got the same bug with Ubuntu 17.04 beta2 with kernel 4.10

After I downloaded kernel 4.4.9 posted here by @elpochodelagente it

I have Dell inspiron and I can confirm this bug as well. Started after
upgrading to 16.04. My uname -r prints out:
4.4.0-22-generic
Will test with a newer one.
