ubuntu hardy and clock
When i select "birmingham" for my option of where (LOCATION) i live the options
settings crash.
Clock still works fine up the corner but its annoying as i cant select where i
live.
Offending selection is : Europe-United Kingdom-Midlands-Birmingham

Fresh install from CD then during the updates i get the same message.

UPDATE:
It only seems to happen when i have nautilus-gksu installed
I did have nautilus-actions installed too but i removed that.

7.10 fresh install. Have added some programs and stuff so i will go
through them and see if any of them are causing this.

If i alt+F2 "gksudo nautilus" or terminal "sudo nautilus" after closing
the windows down nautilus crashes and does not close properly and i have
to kill the process which incidentally takes up all my CPU resources.

UPDATE:
if i click on the nm-applet and select the WAP i want to log onto during the
initial boot everything ifs fine.
If i just leave it it will never connect to my prefered, even if its the only
one on the list.
Its really really annoying :(

No not this time and the last time i was wrong too. I had it set for non
roaming but it wouldnt work so when i clicked allow roaming it logged
straight in.
This is the 3rd install of ubuntu GG that does this.

It just doesn't keep the WPA key after rebooting. This means i have to log on
and put in the WPA key before anyone else can use the computer.
I could share the WPA key with the users but that compromises security.
