I have this problem also using Debian Wheezy with backported qemu-
kvm-2.0.0, CPU usage for idle Windows machine ,using top to measure ,is
constantly >30% (while in Windows Task Manager >5%), while Linux VM
beside is working fine (CPU >5%) when idle...

I think I'm affected by a similar issue. In my case i use USB audio speakers.
Each time I select them as an output device - yes they work, but constantly the
following messages are logged:

I've been playing around with the ATI FGLRX driver lately. It's
definitely related to the issue. When I remove the driver the issue
disappears. I'll try also the open-source ATI drivers.

The blacklist rule didn't help for me. With 2.6.35-22 or 2.6.35-23, I
still have yet to succeed at uploading the firmware through gobi_loader.
The only way for me to use my Verizon connection is to boot into
Windows, connect, then reboot back into Linux, at which point the
"Verizon connection" app
Same for me. Maverick 2.6.35-23-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP, with a Qualcomm
Gobi 2000 card (ID: 05c6:9204, should be changed by firmare into ID
05c6:9205), on a Lenovo X201 Thinkpad, gobi_loader hangs when trying to

The workaround is *not* working for me, I cannot activate the device from

time figuring out what was going wrong. In my case I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and I
found that the only change I need to do is in the /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf. I added
