Yes! Daniel's workaround solved my issue.
However, I'd suggest a minor refinement. In my case at least, I was able
to just use the "use this connection only for resources on this network"
and leave the automatic route pushing on. This simplifies managing the
routes should the network change, and a
** Attachment added: "DpkgTerminalLog.gz"

When I went to install xen-utils-3.1 in adept manager I kept getting
error messages, however, nothing would show up as conflicting. When I
finally resorted to using apt-get from the command line I saw that the
two packages both claimed the same file.
