Same here, and running ubuntu 12.04, with gmameui 0.2.12. I am assuming
it should be as simple as adding it back into the package or something.
I am going to try and compile from source tonight and see if that makes
a difference.

Since its a address collision, with a memory allocation

I did try it, sorry about the late response. I tried disabling DRI, and
etc as other have, and it did help a little but did not fix the problem
entirely. I do believe it is a DRI bug, I had a custom kernel on the
ubuntu 9.10 machine I was working with. It is now happily back to debian
lenny.

Wow, such a long comment/thread page. I have a ATI 9200 SE 64MB AGP, and
it will only run nexuiz for like 15 secs or so, then freeze at the
splash screen. But on debian lenny which uses an older kernel and xorg
