Have to agree. Would love to see this feature. My workflow uses windows,
I tend to not care which application they belong to. I just want to see
the recent list of windows I've interacted with. Sure you can enable the
static switcher, but that's jarring and flickery.

I'd like to app Java Swing apps to this too. I use cassandra-gui a lot
and if I accidentally minimise it, there's no way to restore the window
again, it's gone from the panel and the window switcher list.

I see this bug almost every time I suspend and resume on an IBM T60
under 10.10. I didn't see it running Lucid. It's painful as I use the
laptop at work and suspend/resume on my travels around the building. So
I spend a lot of time rebooting (same as when it ran windoze ;-)).

Just tried the libdrm packages from proposed and they fix the problem on an
IBM stinkpad T60. Side by side dual screen working properly again.

Same here on an IBM Stinkpad T60. 10.04 would suspend/resume for months
on end. 10.10 resume leaves me with (in no particular order, it's
random):
1) a completely black screen
2) bounced back to a terminal complaining about hot-add adding a device that's
already added
3) xscreensaver login - comp

Yeah, it's an issue with Maverick too. I'll try to provide a patch against
Maverick (which should work for Lucid too)

I'm running Lucid. I haven't checked Maverick yet. I can spin up a virtual

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: jetty
In /etc/default/jetty you can set the JAVA_OPTIONS. These options
override the options in /etc/init.d/jetty.
This works for the majority of the options you pass to the java virtual
machine. It doesn't work for -Djava.library.path as in /etc/init.d/
Problem exists here too on a HP dv9088EA running Maverick beta.

Totally and utterly not working. Trying to use Kubuntu at work behind a

years, very disappointing.
Happy to help test packages/fixes, hopefully so that this could possibly
make 9.04?
