After installing retext (5.3.1-1) on 16.04.3, starting retext gives the
following trace:

The problem is the bash function dep_add_modules_mount in /usr/share
/initramfs-tools/hook-functions which doesn't handle zfs.
By adding "MODULES=most" to /usr/share/initramfs-tools/conf-hooks.d/zfs,
the error goes away.
I'm still having trouble getting kdump to actually create a crash dump
with
The problem is this command in /etc/kernel/postinst.d/kdump-tools
exiting with 1:
$ mkinitramfs -d /var/lib/kdump/initramfs-tools -o

After resuming from a suspend, the Ubuntu UI lags so much the system is not
usable. However, this happens only if chrome is running (or is started if not
already running) and hardware acceleration is enabled in chrome.
I've tried both GNOME Shell and Unity with the same resu
I experience the same issue. After system boot, everything is speedy.
Opening some treminals (3-5) with maybe 5-10 tabs each, the system gets very
sluggish. Only a few of them actually has a lot of output (tail log files, and
debug output from programs).
