Still an issue in Ubuntu 1204.
I would like if someone appreciate that this is a very tough bug. In my
case in nearly 50 % of documents I need to read fonts are not displayed.
Except this issue Evince is a very good tool, but I need to use other
programs... Doesn't anybody know any work-a-round?
Same Problem on Dell Latitude D430.
In my case its just a bit different. I also selected not to dim, but
after some time the computer dims. I can activate the screen by pressing
the shift key, but the screen is dimmed to the darkest possible setting.
When I press the brightness key once, the scree
setuid bit is set to /bin/mount and /sbin/mount.cifs:
sudo ls -la /bin/mount /sbin/mount.cifs
-rwsr-sr-x 1 root root 72188 2010-03-22 18:51 /bin/mount
-rwsr-sr-x 1 root root 30424 2010-04-09 17:29 /sbin/mount.cifs
but I got:
mount -t cifs //server/datenauf$ /mnt -o user,rw,user=bbr,dom=ivu-ag
mou
I can confirm this bug running Empathy 2.28.1.1 with Karmic (9.10) on an
amd64 machine.
