Public bug reported:
The image for "Sound Recorder" on the Ubuntu Software Center is lying to
me. There is no file, edit, or help toolbars. When I use this, it says
"cannot overwrite source file(s)!" I cannot tell it which directory to
save to either. It is version 1.4.4 - the most recent version
Thankyou. Should I report this as a seperate bug then? Under what
heading? Just checked and the same thing happens under the previous
kernel as well. What about the occasional "roaming to none" is this
normal? or a seperate bug to report? Or hardware difficiency? Or who
knows? I've checked the bio
Cheers for the quickresponse, and advice. There is a newer bios for
the laptop on the acer website but it's for Vista. I want nothing to do
with vista. I'm running dual boot with xp till I've ironed out a few
things then I'll probably abandon windoze completely. The site warns
against unnecessary
I'm getting this. I was hunting for 2 days for info on it but didn't
find this page. Tried to file a report but I don't think it went
through. I'm running 8.10 kernel 2-6-27-9 on an acer aspire 3633WLMI.
I'm brand new and shiney on this as I just jumped on Thursday gone, so
please bear with me. A

Probably this bug should be closed with an appropriate comment e.g. "Fix
released in geany version ..."
I don't know which version fixed this bug, and so didn't do this myself.

I got a crash when I pressed F4.
Comparing the crash dump (full log) I got with the one uploaded here, it looks
like a sig11 in the same function (gtk_widget_grab_focus).
nnelson seems to be using an SMP machine whereas I am on UP.
Repeated these steps and consistently got a crash at

My apologies: I uploaded a wrong crash dump.
If possible, can some remove that attachment.
TIA.

I could not reproduce the bug on my system (Edubuntu 6.10, gnome 2.16.1,
kernel 2.6.17-11-386)
I tried the following steps:
1. Created a .c file in geany.
2. Added some content and saved it.
3. Opened the same file in gedit, edited (added a line) and saved it.
4. Opened this file in geany.
