On Ubuntu 8.04 and 7.10 I simply used

#rmmod gspca
#modprobe gspca
to get it working, but in Ubuntu 8.10 (64bits) i don't have the module
gspca, and i ever get a error when i try to compile it using
#apt-get install gspca-source

later i will try this ke
depmod i386 worked, but i got some problems ...
1 - The image of webcam was in a small quality
2 - Cheese opens my capture card rather than open my webcam.
I still can use 'sudo rmmod zc0301; sudo rmmod gspca; sudo modprobe
gspca' do solve all this problems and get my webcam working perfectly.

simply go to '/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist' and add at de end of the file:

I think that we should use BasicIdeals as Dark theme,
many people will love it !

After the automatic configuration of network, Ubuntu should test the
Internet or we need change the timeout of apt.
A Sample:
when trying download packages from security.ubuntu.com, and Ubuntu see that
security.ubuntu.com was unreachable, why Ubuntu try download other packages
from the same doma

Ubuntu already have Packages like blubuntu-wallpapers (a nice blue
wallpaper, but only one), and you can try too, install the blubuntu-
look.

By default in Ubuntu, the splash image try shows
/usr/share/pixmaps/splash/ubuntu-splash.png when launching Gnome, but
this file don't exist in the default installation of Ubuntu, so Gnome
shows /usr/share/pixmaps/splash/gnome-splash.png wh
Gimp in Gutsy now is 2.4.0-rc3, and i think now gimp-splash is ok
