Since I don't use IPV6 at all, I just commented out the include_shell line in
my lighttpd.conf file for the use-ipv6.pl file
which seems to work fine.

I have previously installed the nvidia driver from nvidia web site after
8.10 was launched without support for my video card. I was trying to
install either 96 or 71 to get back to using stock Ubuntu packages
