Yes, it is. What I did was to updated the packages and upgrade the linux kernel (2.6.31.14.48 I guess, but see below). Then, reboot. After the boot, the first thing I did was to open a terminal and alsamixer. The result: microphone was not working and the capture items were unchecked in alsamixer.
